The seven tycoon games are not seven separate worlds. They share a current account, a bank and a market hall. You can take money out of one business and put it into another, take out a loan when things are tight, or put spare cash into a fixed-term deposit.
The market hall lets players trade with each other: a farm sells eggs to a hospital canteen, and every delivery creates real freight that a haulage or railway player can move. On top of that there is a private life to pay for — rent, food, subscriptions — because the money has to be worth something.
And all of it is set in a real place. The railway runs between real stations in the German Rhineland, the haulage firm starts from a yard in Leverkusen, the hospital is the Klinikum am Rhein — and the farm can even run on the real weather measured there.
